Continuing with my series of "5" Star Photos: Grizzly Bears. This particular bear I found between Yellowstone National Park and Grand Teton National Park. He was searching for bugs around fallen trees. With the wildflowers in front of him, it made for a nice photo:

Gorgeous. I anticipate the day I run into one of these guys during a birding trek. They are wonderful to look at from a distance:)
ReplyDeleteI just realized that I missed your comment on the Grizzly Bear. I must say I keep twice the distance from a Grizzly than I do from a Black Bear. In the photo above, I was as close as I ever like to get, about 50 feet. With today's telephoto lenses there is really no reason to get any closer. Thanks for your comment.
