Birding Fort Huachuca - Part II

Of course, in addition to birds there is a wide variety of wildlife: black bears, mountain lions, coyotes, foxes, coatimundi -- oh, and deer everywhere.

Not to dismiss those as insignificant, I did get a couple of fun photos:

Madera Canyon

We have had our two daughters and their beaus and family here for the last several days. Yesterday, we drove the back road through Box Canyon to Madera Canyon. It was a perfect day: Blue sky, plenty of sun, and about 80 degrees. Water was running through the canyon which provided great fun for the grandchildren. And, while I didn't expect to photograph anything unusual, an Arizona Tree Squirrel provided some fun and photos for everyone:
