Huachuca Canyon Birding
Christine and I went to Huachuca Canyon for a picnic/hike/birding "adventure" after breakfast on Tuesday. We arrived around 11:00, so not the best time of day to bird. But we had the canyon all to ourselves.
There was a Robin in her nest, though she flew onto a limb above when she saw us:

Incinerator Ridge, Mount Lemmon
Since Mount Lemmon is right out our back door, it is where I go when I don't have a lot of time. So yesterday, I made a quick trip up to Incinerator Ridge wondering what I might find this early in the season. It was a bit windy and cold (49 degrees). No real flocks of birds yet, but with a little patience a few nice birds did present themselves:

Took a quick trip up Mount Lemmon to Rose Canyon Lake to see if the Spring Migrants have arrived. The answer: Some.
