Here is a Tiger Longwing found in the Peruvian Amazon -- which is a yearly visitor to the Tucson Botanical Garden's Butterfly Magic exhibit. Really quite a lovely butterfly:

Well, after three weeks of National Wildlife Refuges, let's catch up. Another trip to the Tucson Botanical Garden yielded some nice butterfly photos, although nothing I hadn't seen and photographed before. But, still worth sharing:

You would think this one wouldn't be hard to identify. But, I can't find it anywhere. Appears to be a Swallowtail of some kind.
