Continuing my series on Winter Wildlife Photos we have the Wood Duck.
I was traveling in Eastern Oregon with a stop at Mahleur National Wildlife Refuge. This refuge is not know for its abundant "winter wildlife," so I was pleasantly surprised to find this Wood Duck in a small creek. He certainly seemed out of place:
