Lizards Part Two
Continuing with lizards, the first is the Texas Horned Lizard I got at Cabeza Prieta National Wildlife Refuge in Southwestern Arizona. Cabeza Prieta is situated along the Mexican border between Organ Pipe Cactus National Monument and the town of Yuma. This guy didn't seem to mind my taken photographs from many angles. The second photo is the Regal Horned Lizard taken at Christopher Columbus Lake on the West side of Tucson. He was actually climbing the curb. Then the last photo is the Short Horned Lizard taken in Marshall Gulch at Mount Lemmon. He was probably half the size of the other two horned lizards. The Short Horned Lizard likes mountains where the Regal and Texas love the heat of the desert. All are insect eaters.
